5 km and a 10-minute drive from the holiday complex is the Thracian domed tomb dating from the 2nd-3rd century. It is believed to have served as a mausoleum for a wealthy Anchial family and religious rituals dedicated to the cult of the sun were performed in it. The domed tomb is in excellent condition and is the largest of its kind in Bulgaria and the only one of its kind on the Balkan Peninsula.
